A borehole video camera is a simple optical instrument used for identifying well conditions in air or fluid filled, cased and open hole situations. Applications include water well completion, environmental monitor well evaluation, hydrogeological studies, mining applications, and engineering parameters. These portable systems are not suited for high fluid temperature conditions and are limited by the degree of turbidity (cloudiness) of the borehole medium.

ALT OBI 40 OPTICAL TELEVIEWER
The optical televiewer is fully downhole digital and can be run on any standard winches (mono, 4 conductors, 7 conductors). It is directly compatible with the ALT acquisition system using acquisition and processing software (ALTlogger and WellCAD). Resolution is user definable (up to 0.5mm Vertical resolution and 720 pixels Azimuthal resolution)
